The strength to physical weight cant be beat. It has the same same size to strength ratio of steel. Its kinda the titanium of the rope world. Its not stiff at all. Easy to manipulate. It braided so that it looks like a Chinese Finger Puzzle when you push it together and acts like one when you put tension on it, which is why its perfect for splicing and making Whoopie slings and soft shackles. Its slick, so it isnt good for knots. Splicing is the way to go with this stuff. I ordered 50ft of it Sunday night and plan to make a set of slings to try out.
